Life sure has its fair share of ups and downs. Coming out of the incredible high from Sole to Soul Women's Christian Yoga Retreat to the low of a massive computer glitch gives me that reminder that life needs to be taken in stride. We take the good cracks with the bad and "Continue on, Christian Soldier".
I feel so terrible... please forgive me if you got many many emails from me at 4:30pm Friday. I just signed-up the non-profit in an awareness campaign and this first attempt was a bit of a disaster. I'm working with my go-to guy from the platform to get it FIXED ASAP! So sorry, really. I pray this never happens again. I'm hopeful that the ministry will grow with the help of computers and not the opposite!
On a positive note, those of you that had the opportunity to join the Sole to Soul Team, Kat, Lorie, Denise and I, I want to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart for pouring yourselves into the weekend. God showed up (big time!) and reading your valuable response forms has painted a picture in my mind that is Beautiful by God's Design! Truly, looking back on the perfect weather, the mountain setting, how lives were changed, and the time and energy that each of us put into the weekend, proves it was all God's doing! I praise Him for all his goodness. Thank you Sole to Soul Colorado for the generous donation to the ministry through allowing F.R.O.G. Pose to participate in the event!
For those of you that weren't able to attend, we missed you. Mark your calendars though as it looks like 9/30-102/2022 is on our Sole to Soul Calendar for another great weekend get away. Details later!
My big take away was seeing the transformation that took place over the weekend. Friday night we were a room of 30 unrelated women that didn't really know each other and emerged as a new formed family and sisterhood in Christ. By the time Sunday's sendoff happened, I could see each of our personalities shining through cracked pots, literally. It was as if fears of coming to an event where we might feel like an outsider and any mask of pretend that we hide behind was removed and we could relax in our unique personalities God created in us. We pray that the new friendships you made and the old friendships you fostered will grow deeper and that you'll stay connected now that we're back to battling reality and computer issues!
Hope to see you in person at Harvest Today 7290 W 120th Broomfield at noon on Wednesday and broadcasted on Facebook Live https://www.facebook.com/frogposeyoga/live_videos/
