Calling all ladies (ages 16 and older) to join us Friday night through Sunday lunch (10/1-10/3) at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park! We've designed a weekend get away for fostering transformation of body, soul, and spirit in a supportive environment. With Christ-centered, alignment-based-all-levels yoga classes, Biblical teaching, art therapy, and community it's the breakthrough all women deserve! Use free time to enjoy on-site complimentary amenities: miniature golf, basketball, volleyball, tennis, indoor swimming, hiking trails, playgrounds, library. "I decided to try the yoga retreat last year, a: because I had never done yoga and wanted to experience it, especially in a Christian format, b: because I needed a good break away from things.
As the event approached, multiple times I considered canceling because I was struggling in my faith, I was having a hard time trusting God, and so many other reasons "it just wasn't going to work out." I was so touched and inspired by the dynamic of your friendships and leadership. You each brought something so unique and beautiful to the sessions. It was truly inspiring. Kat, thank you for your youthful energy and leading us in the art therapy and rap! I have used music to teach my kids scripture as well, so I completely connected with you on that level. You carry such a beautiful sense of peace and trustworthiness in your eyes. I can see why people who need someone gravitate toward your loving heart. Thank you for sharing your energy and joy. Lorie, thank you for your vulnerability and obedience to share when God prompted you. I am usually not brave enough to share so I was inspired by the way you heard from the Lord and obeyed Him out of love when sharing before communion. It was beautiful and honest and very moving. And such a great example for me to see how He moves when we obey and open up. Thank you for letting Him speak through you to all of us. Kate, thank you for challenging me on the mat with a faster yoga flow. I learned the connection between breath and flow in a new way from you this weekend.
